I stay very busy between two jobs as a teacher.  My relaxation and enjoyment comes from writing.  If I didn’t have to eat and have a roof over my head, I would spend my time thinking, researching, and writing.  It never fails, I will lay my head down to sleep (usually after midnight), have a thought, and find myself back at the computer.  Many times I’m in the shower or driving when an idea is born.  I enjoy humor, especially satire.  I would love to be the female Dave Barry or an Erma Bombeck.

 Mark Twain and Jane Austen are my two favorite authors–Twain for his satire and ability at capturing humanity and Austen for her wit and skill with words.

 I greatly admire Bob Dylan’s musical and poetic genius, but I also enjoy classical music, mainly Mozart.

 I’m a news junkie. 

I love baseball!!  I pull for the Tampa Bay Rays, but I also like the Braves.  I just enjoy the game itself–no matter who is playing.

My 4 children bring great joy into my life, and they are all great students and workers.  We all have a quirky sense of humor and get on each other’s nerves in a fun, sort of annoying, way.

 My animal kingdom includes 2 poodles (a grump and a lover-see Dachshund), 2 parakeets, and a Dachshund with 3 new puppies. 

 Life is good.  God is good.
